Kate Walsh started her career in Chicago where she joined the renowned Piven Theatre Workshop. She grew up partly in San Jose and partly in Tucson, Arizona, and she attended the University of Arizona. She appeared as an actress in theatrical productions of “Born Guilty”, “Moon Under Miami”, Troilus and Cressida”. Kate was cast in two films “Normal Life “which was directed by John McNaughton, and “Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer II.”. She marked as a big TV star on “The Drew Carey Show” as a Drew’s girlfriend. She moved to New York for comedy and improvisation training. Walsh also appeared in the shows like “The Mike O’Malley Show”, “Mind of a married Man”. She is very well known for her role in Grey’s anatomy as Addison Montgomery Shepherd. She co-starred opposite Will Ferrell and Robert Duvall in the feature film “Kicking and Screaming.” Kate’s other feature credits include “Under the Tuscan Sun,” “After the Sunset,” “Inside Out” and “The Family Man.” Presently, Walsh is in Los Angeles.
