When Chyler was at the age of 12, she moved with her mother to Miami, Florida where she began her career in front of the camera modeling for magazines and catalogues. After getting bore with modeling, she switched out into acting, by appearing into Local commercials and hosting a news show called “Hall Pass”. Leigh’s breakout performance in The WB comedy pilot, “Saving Grass” landed her a newly created role on “Safe Harbor”.
But unluckily, she also appeared in some flop shows like “Safe Harbor” which lasted only one season and her next comedy show “That 80’s show” failed miserably and another comedy “Girls Club” ran just for 2 episodes. Leigh married fellow actor Nathan West in 2002, and they are having one child. Leigh, a well determined actor became a regular star in the last season of “The Practice”. She filmed a pilot for WB drama “Rocky Point” and “Reunion “. She appeared as Lexie Grey in Grey’s anatomy series and this role is a landmark of her acting career.
