Grey’s Anatomy seems quite committed to ensure victories for ABC Network. The show continued its popularity stint in the 18-49 demos on the night of October, 8 leading ABC to its third Thursday night victory in a line, creating a record of sorts. The show still dominates in the 18-49 groups. This Thursday night, when the episode entitled ‘Tainted Obligation’ was on air; it scored a massive 13.8 million outshining its opponents. The show running in its sixth season has never lost its popularity since its pilot episode, ‘A Hard Day’s Night’ premiered on March 27, 2005. I know the episode must be still fresh in your minds.

Hey friends, do you remember Isaiah Washington, the guy famous for his anti gay remark on the sets of Grey’s Anatomy. Coincidently, this week marks the ‘Third Anniversary’ of Washington’s homophobic remark at his co-actor T.R Knight which resulted in his expulsion from the show as we all know. This seems to have provided a fatal blow to the actor’s career which is evident from the fact that he hasn’t got many roles after he was fired from Grey’s Anatomy. But the reality is that the show kept on progressing in spite of his absence. But guys don’t get so carried away. Let’s talk about the show.

In the last episode, ‘Do The Right Thing’ we got to see the struggle of Grey girls, Lexie and Meredith on coming to know that their father Thatcher needed a liver transplant.  Though hesitantly but Meredith decided to become a donor for her father. However, the couple has rubbished these allegations declaring them baseless and false statements.

All these media reports seem to be a planned effort to build up mental pressure on Eric Dane and make him behave in an odd manner. Although all the episodes of a season do matter, the wait for the season finale is always exciting and thrilling. Generally, 20-22 episode form a season. People usually watch all the episodes of their favorite series. They may sometime leave out one episode or the other of the series but no body ever dares to miss out the season finale. Actually, this is the episode which summarizes what we have watched throughout the season while giving a satisfying end to the season long stuff.

And, the very same excitement was seen among the fans for the season finale of Season 5 of Grey’s Anatomy TV show. The episode which brought it to end was entitled ‘Now or Never‘, aired on May 14, 2009. The reports released by The New York Times made it public that the episode attracted 16.4 million viewers, relegating CSI to the second place with 14.4 million viewers. There’s nothing startling that the Thursday night episode of Grey’s Anatomy, the season 5 finale, ended up being the most watched episode. Rumors have been around for a longtime that Katherine Heigl portraying Izzie, and T.R. Knight, playing George, would be soon leaving the very popular ABC drama ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, due to some scene-length related issues. Before we have had any official word on the above statement another rumor started making rounds.

As of now, its’ being said that Katherine Heigl would stick with the show. The lady is not in mood to get her name out of the star cast list of the show in which she served as a regular character since its premiere. Katherine is known for speaking out her mind and now she is considering staying with the show as long as it’s possible. In the recent episodes of the season, her character was shown battling with the stage IV metastatic cancer and fans were sure that it’s reason enough to write her out of the show. It seemed that the creators had found a way to punish her for a gripe she made against them last year.

But, the lady has intentions to stay on the show. At the celebration party of the 100^th episode of series, Heigl made it clear that “I don’t know if I live or die. I don’t know how Izzie fares. I’m there if Izzie remains part of “Grey’s Anatomy” tv show. Let’s see whether her, not-so-clear, statement to be a part of series gets considered or not by the creators of the show. Fans would really like Dr. Izzie to remain on the series as long as possible. No news about T.R. Knight’s future on series yet!

Well, it’s pretty hard for me to understand how I should react on the above news. I mean, there have been rumors swirling around about Grey’s Anatomy cast-departure for a long time. In fact, some weeks ago, I wrote a post on the very same subject- what’s wrong with Grey’s star cast. Things were not going well and ultimately, the result of the whole process has come out.

As per the statements of James Pickens, Jr., a.k.a. The Chief, it’s now very sure that two main stars of series, namely Katherine Heigl and TR Knight, are leaving the show very soon. He said, “Yes, she is,” he said when asked if Heigl will exit the show that made her famous. “Wherever Katherine goes, I wish her nothing but the best.” As for Knight, Pickens said, “He’s going too.” But still, ABC representatives are not in mood to confirm it. When they’re approached to know what’s right/wrong, they simply made it clear that both are still working with the show and would return in the next season of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. Whom to believe on and whom not….. fans are unable to decide L

Since the day ‘Gray’s Anatomy’ has been premiered, we have been watching both of them portraying doctors Izzie Stevens and George O’Malley. If news about it (their exit) is true, it’d be a big deal for writer to write their way-out… how two important characters would be exited…. It’s gonna be pretty audacious!

The above stuff is not confirmed yet and rumor mill has already started giving another kind of rumors. People are saying that Knight would return to reprise his role in the upcoming seasons of series. OMG…. He’s gonna out and the door can’t be shut as he has to return….. doesn’t it seem pretty mysterious!

Lack of screen time may be the reason which made Knight to get his name out of the Grey’s Anatomy TV show star-cast list. Whereas Heigl has some issues regarding the way her role is being written into the storyline.

Yeah, man….. Chyler Leigh 26, your own Alexandra “Lexie” Grey of Grey’s Anatomy is expecting her third child with her actor/musician husband Nathan West, 30. The couple already has two children five year old son Noah and two year old daughter Taelyn. And it’s very pleasing for them to add another member to their family. Alexandra “Lexie” Grey has been a part of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ since 2007.

If you’re of thinking that actress’ pregnancy will be a part of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, then, let me make you sure that it’s not going to be a part of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ storyline. Show representatives have already confirmed that her pregnancy will not be written into the storyline. We see her portraying Alexandra “Lexie” Grey on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. Lexie is the daughter of Thatcher Grey and Susan, his second wife and has a younger sister Molly Grey Thompson. Series’ main character Meredith Grey’s her other half sister.

Alexandra “Lexie” Grey was first introduced during the season 2 of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. It was the episode when her sister Molly was pregnant and was admitted to Seattle Grace Hospital. At the Hospital, Meredith was talking to Molly and while talking about her paternal side of family, she mentioned Alexandra “Lexie” Grey and also about her studies at the Harvard University. And, we first saw her in the penultimate episode of the series when she met Derek Shepherd at Joe’s Bar. Her first appearance at Seattle Grace was when she introduced herself to George O’Malley.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ is currently running with the fifth season and the next episode would be aired on January 8, 2009. It’s entitled ‘Wish You Were Here’ and we’ll see- Dr. Arizona and Bailey would team up in order to save the life of a young patient. On the other hand, Callie and Sloan would be seen working together to resist their attractions to Sadie and Lexis respectively. Izzie will reveal something to Denny. It’s gonna be the next episode after we watched ‘All By Myself’.

Well, congrats to the happy couple and I hope that her maternity leaver or things like that won’t affect the storyline of Grey’s.

Since I’ve come to know that T.R. Knight, playing George O’Malley on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ has expressed his wish to be discharge from ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, I’m forced to think what’s wrong behind the scenes. As per the latest news that came out, Knight is very much unhappy with his co-stars and it mainly goes back to his controversy with then-cast- member Isaiah Washington. Isaiah dropped derogatory statements about Knight’s real life sexual orientation. This incident hurt Knight and more insulting was the time that Shonda Rhimes, series’ creator, took to publicly condemn Isaiah’s actions. Eventually, Knight has decided to say good-bye to the show and insiders say that creators are working to grant him what he wishes for.

This is not the only case and list is too long. Things like above have been happening since ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ premiere. Once Ellen Pompeo, portraying Meredith Grey on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ told Oprah that she absolutely hated Meredith’s ‘pick me, choose me, love me’ monologue. Isaiah Washington’s rude behavior with T.R. Knight and his usually combative nature on set made him terminated from the show. Moreover, Patrick Dempsey, appearing as Derek Shepherd, had already told in an interview that various things behind the scenes made him unhappy. What the hell is going on among them? I am really surprised that ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ has done very well and Network and viewers are happy with show. But for how long things will go on like this? I mean, what you can expect when people start hating their respective characters and storylines like Meredith’s case. Well, I am pretty confused about show’s future….

And, interesting fact is that some are not happy with what’s happening to them behind the scenes of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, and others are about to join the start cast of show. And, currently, I am talking about Ben Shenkman. As we all know that Jennifer Westfeldt has been already added to the star cast list and very soon she’ll get married. Yeah, character of her husband will be portrayed by Ben Shenkman, Tony and Golden Globe nominated actor. He’s not gonna appear as a supporting hubby but in fact, he’ll be a patient himself suffering with a critical disease. No more details are revealed by the network yet!

Finally, ABC has confirmed the above statement. This is an intelligent decision made by the network officials after the revolving door of Seattle Grace Hospital showed the outside way to Brooke Smith.

He has already appeared on several episodes of fifth season of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and now it’s apparent that he has been added as a regular to the star cast list of series. As per the statements of series’ representatives, he’s going to be the additional cast member for series’ upcoming episodes. He’ll be appointed permanently as the head of Trauma Surgery, Dr. Owen Hunt. His character, Dr. Hunt develops feelings for Dr. Christina Yang. It means, we’re gonna enjoy a new relationship on our favorite show ‘Grey’s Anatomy’.

Wow! I am feeling very excited with the above announcement and reasons are many. First is that he’s one of the genuine and happening guys on series and whenever he appears on the screen, we really enjoy the scenes. Secondly, for me, he’s better than various others (secretly, I am not gonna unravel the names)… so, I hope their decision to make him a regular will surely help the series to get higher rakings.

McKidd, 35 year old ‘Journeyman’ fame is happy to be a part of the show. He said ““It’s a great show, and I’m lucky to be on it”. Although, ‘Journeyman’ has been cancelled just after the first season, but Kevin’s appearance on show was liked by everyone. And, he is surely not among the ones, who’re responsible for show’s cancellation. Currently, he’s living in Los Angeles with his wife, Jane and two children Joseph and Iona.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’s next episode entitled ‘These Ties That Bind’ will be aired on November 13, 2008. Following it will be ‘In the Midnight Hour’.

The guy, who was long considered dead in the series, is back. Yes, here I am talking about Denny, Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The handsome guy, who has been doing some on and off screen appearances in the series, is back again in the last episode. Now, this obviously came as a surprise to me. I was not expecting him back. I mean, I obviously heard this, that he will be back in the series, but I took it as a rumor. But, when I saw him in the episode ‘These Ties That Bind’, I was in shock and happy at the same time.

Now, that he is back in the series, the next thing that comes to my mind is that, for how long he will be there in the series. Again, I read it somewhere that he is gong to be in the series for some five episodes. Now, that sounds interesting. If he is going to be there for that long, I am sure he has to do something with the plot. According to the resources, Denny will play Izzie’s surprise love interest in the series. Now, that is some kind of news. Doesn’t that make the plot all the more interesting? Well, if we just stop here, and give it a moment to think, then, we know that Denny will be there for five episodes and that he will play Izzie’s love interest, with this, where is the story line going, dude. Does any one know?

Well, I don’t think that any one of us at this point, can miss even a single episode of the series. Despite this Denny-Izzie plot, there is one more interesting thing that will be shown up in the series, soon. Here, I am talking about the whole Izzie brain tumor rumor; I mean I got to know that Ausiello is serious about this, too, and this will be added in the story line.

With so many interesting things happening in the series, all we have to do is to wait and watch how these things get placed up in the story line. So, let’s just get ready for some very exciting episodes from the series.

The very talented actress, Mary McDonnell, who played the part of President Roslin, in the very famous series ‘Battlestar Galactica’, is now about to join ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. Though, it is not yet decided, what role she will get in this medical drama series, but it is certain that she will be in the series for quite some episodes. What ever role she gets in the series, we are sure that this two time Oscar nominee actress will definitely give her best in this doctor series too.

Now, the news is that, it is not only she, who is in demand, but everyone from the star cast of ‘Battlesatr Galactica’. Since, ‘Battlestar Galactica’ is all set to end its awesome series in 2009, about which we are not at all happy, everyone wants to get the extremely talented stars of this team for their shows. Tricia Helfer who played ‘Number Six’ in ‘Battlestar Galactica’ will be doing the female lead on Fox’s ‘Inseparable’. Tahmoh Penikett well known as ‘Helo’ is off to Joss Whedon’s ‘Dollhouse’ and Katee Sackhoff is headed to NBC’s ‘Lost & Found’.

But, everyone is of the view that it is ABC, who has managed to get the best out of the bunch. Let ABC network be happy to get the best, and let us be happy as we will at-least not miss the stars of the show. Though, we will definitely miss the wonderful series. The 5^th season of Grey’s Anatomy is about to return. The date has already been announced. So all of Grey’s fans get ready for medical traumas and call room hiccups in a generous dose. The next season of Grey’s Anatomy will be an update on the workplace romances going on at the Seattle Grace. I know that workplace romances are for real but in Grey’s Anatomy this seems to be the only occupation of the young interns. Every body is more interested in finding the right match for them that building a career. Tickles me to no end.

Last season saw our darling Meredith finally admitting to Derek that she was ready for a life with him. Christina was ready to move on with life after Burke and to meet a new doctor in the On Call room. Rebecca seemed to be losing her marbles with Alex to take care of her. Webber finally returned to his wife and boy, it was finally time he did so. And we thought we have finally figured out the love lives of these doctors but it seems the 5^th season will bring new romances to Seattle Grace.

With Gizzie dead, Izzie will have to move on and find some one else to get cozy with. I was afraid that creators of the show would kill the character of Katherine Heigl. But spoilers have announced for this season she is still around. I am such a huge fan of hers that Seattle Grace would not be same without her. There is a rumor that Dean Morgan is also returning to the show. Now buddies do you think Izzie is going to romance a ghost?

Do you think that McSteamy can stop trying to bed the nursing staff of Seattle Grace? Let me whet the appetite of those who like to speculate on the possible hookups. In the third episode of season 5 Lexie and McSteamy share a scene but spoilers sealed their lips whether they will be fully clothed or not.

I’ve got exciting news about Grey’s Anatomy. Remember Denny’ a heart patient who Izzie tried hard to save? Well, he is returning to ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. I remember she was so devastated after his demise and remained in great shock for several days. While he was alive, he was the only patient in whom Izzie was extremely interested and used to take extra care of him, compared to other patients. I liked their pair very much. They look cute together. It was very sad for everyone when the show makers cut off his role giving him a cardiac attack and sent him to heaven forever.

Now I am surprised how they will get him back into the show? He died long back and now show producers have announced that he will be seen again with Dr. Izzie in the coming season. They will be again seen romancing in the new episodes. But the show creators are careful not to leak out a single detail about how its going to happen. So let’s make a guess on our own.

I think, as he is already dead then may be, we will see him in Izzie’s fantasy land. I mean she will dream of having nice time with Denny. Otherwise, there are no other mean by which he can become alive. Or they can make a wild story how Izzie got unconscious when she thought he had died but he was not actually dead and doctors brought him around and he was shifted to another hospital and there he was suffering from Amnesia and after a long time he recovered and he eventually comes back to see Izzie. Phew, that was stretching my imagination and credibility really thin.

I think chances of him being in Izzie’s dreams are more. Well as per the Buddy TV news, Jeffery Dean Morgan playing Denny is extremely happy that he is rejoining ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. He is more excited to be with Izzie again. He is playing John Winchester in ‘Supernatural’ too, and looks charming in both the TV shows. I am very happy for his come back to the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. Now the show will be fun.

I have recently come across many rumors about Katherine Heigl’s (Dr. Izzie Stevens) departure from the Grey’s Anatomy. There have been speculations from the time she made bitter statements about the writers of the show and refused to let her name be put forward for Emmy nominations for her role in the show this year.

She arrogantly announced that she is leaving a chance for the other actresses by taking her name out of Emmy and she doesn’t find herself deserving as there was very little of her in the last season. She said writers didn’t give her character enough substance for making her role worthy of Emmy. The show producers and writers were quite angry with her statements as she had won Emmy a year back due to the same writers of ‘Grey Anatomy’. From that time everybody was speculating about her departure from ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ for next Season. But later on her statements appeared in newspapers that ‘Grey Anatomy’ is like her family and she is not going to leave it for her movie career.

But now again there is rumor that may be producers don’t want her anymore in the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. But, on the other hand, I recently read the confirmed news about her stay in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. I personally believe that she really has a weak role. It seems that she is in hospital just to carry on dating different guys instead of concentrating on her career. She doesn’t even leave her patients alone. She fell in love with Denny once, the heart patient and remained depressed for many days after his death. She even adopted unethical means of treatment because of her emotional attachment to him.

Otherwise, she never helps any other patient as a part of her duties as a doctor. Her presence on the show is just entertainment factor. I have not seen her she discovering something constructive in medical field. She wants to become a surgeon but remains busy in finding the right man for herself in hospital. I think, she doesn’t fit into the doctor’s role and hasn’t much to do in the coming season except romancing with George. What do you say?

‘Grey’s Anatomy‘ is on the Emmy’s list of top ten nominees in the category of Best Drama Series. After much discussion, list is prepared by Academy of Television Arts and sciences. The show’s closest competitor is another medical drama ‘House’. Don’t worry, after all ABC network has two other nominations besides ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ in the Emmy list. Those are ‘Boston legal’ and ‘Lost’. So we are sure that at least one is sure to win as all three are wonderful series.

Other than this, a rumor busted off recently. There was a rumor that Katherine Heigl is going to leave the ‘Grey’ Anatomy’, as she had given statements like, she is not satisfied with the writer’s work for her role as Dr. Izzie. She failed to get her name for Emmy nominations for her role. The whole thing resulted in bitterness between the people behind the show and Heigl. But recently, I read on Buddy TV that she issued a statement that ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ is like her family and she won’t leave the show. So we will meet Dr. Izzie in the coming season. Anyways, these Hollywood actresses are like this. They keep changing their statements to suit the given situation.

Her statement was more of a publicity stunt. Theses actresses say many things to remain in news and people hear and forget. Recently she has got married to the singer Josh Kelley and is in news because of this. Now she doesn’t require this rumor for publicity, so she kicked it off.

So what if her name is not on nomination list for Emmy, now the series itself is a nominee and it doesn’t need any obligations from her.

I have good news and a bad news for the guys who have crush over Dr. Isabel ‘Izzie’ Stevens (Katherine Heigl) of the Grey’s Anatomy. Although she was more popular in the 2005 season, but she is still The Most Desirable Women of the 2008 according to the public poll. Well coming straight to the point, I want to tell you the good news that she has announced her engagement with singer Josh Kelly. Remember, she appeared in the video for Kelley’s song “Only You”. I know this is not so good news for the guys who are crazy about her, but then that’s life.

Now coming to the bad news, I think it’s gonna sooth the hearts of critics and will definitely be indigestible for her fans. Katherine has stated this week that she has withdrawn her name from the Emmy ballot because she does not feel she has given Emmy worthy material. The makers of the show are unhappy over her comments, as the show bent backwards to accommodate her film schedule and even then she criticizes the show for the lack of material.

No wonder, the show people are calling it a slap in the faces of the writers who made her win the Emmy in first place. She was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award in the category of Best Supporting Actress for the Series, Mini Series or Motion Picture made for the television for her work in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ in late 2006. Nonetheless she has won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in Drama Series for the same role in September 2007.

This Emmy pushed Heigl into the pool of controversies as in her acceptance speech she acknowledged that even her mother did not believe that she could win, and when her name was called she had to be censored vocally by the telecast’s producers, due to her saying “Shit!” as she reacted to the announcement. I suppose her fans really want her to keep away from the controversies. To be very honest, she is fair this time not only to herself but with the other deserving actresses of this year by taking her name out.

Well, lots of things to talk about. Where to go first? Okay, let’s start from Meredith and Derek who has another tumor patient for clinical trail, her brain mass is causing her to act abnormally. After mixing the inject able virus solution, there’s only a short window to use it before the solution is dead and useless. Here’s an imaginary boyfriend, not real and the patient was conceived that her beau is coming to see her before surgery. Since the virus solution was not dead yet, so Derek’s intention was to give her more hours with happy thoughts whereas Meredith was willing to get on with it.

Derek is still in love with Meredith but is unable to understand how anti-love is. Dr. Wyatt denies letting Meredith give up on therapy. Rebecca… Alex discovers something about her. Christina is continuously acting in strange manners and Chief wants Erica to perform some tough surgery. Meredith, she has her own issues with family, friends, with her sis, with Christina and yeah also with Derek. I liked Wyatt’s ways to describe and when he called her a quitter, I think it was all right. Callie was being predicted her switch to the other team for some weeks and finally it happened. Following are some best lines from episode:

Meredith: Cristina, are you in the dark place?
Cristina: Yeah…
Meredith: Me too.

Meredith: My mother tried to kill herself when I was a kid, after the love her life disappeared.

So, this was ‘Losing My Mind’. Two episodes are still to be aired from season 4. I’m crazy to watch coming episodes? Are you……..

Katherine is playing Isobel “Izzie Stevens” on hit Grey’s Anatomy series and TR Knight is playing George O’Malley on the same series. The actress has recently revealed that she has had a crush on T.R. Knight while filming the episodes. She says, ‘When we were filming the pilot I was single and so was he and I kind of had my eye on him.”

Now, she’s married to Josh Kelly, a rock star, and before she met her hubby, she had a crush on “Grey’s Anatomy” star- until he let her know that he’s a gay. Well, they couldn’t form a couple and Katherine is happy with Kelly and she and Knight are just good friends.
